In honor of Labor Day I chose to start working on my blog today. A very deer friend set this up for me (Thank you K<3) weeks ago and my gut is telling me it is time to start “talking.” One does not have to carry a tune in order have a voice. (Although I am in tune during “that time of the month”). What I mean is I aim to positively affect the world with the words that I have in my head and in my heart. I am a very blessed woman with an abundant and exciting life and I want to share my experiences with you. I want to make you laugh and show you how I see the world. It’s also my way of thanking all of the sweet people who tell me I should be blogging. Thank you, kind friends, for finding me amusing. This is for you :).
Here are some things that baby gazelle will NOT be: Perfect, grammatically correct, negative, heavy, serious, filled with rants, hard to read or boring.
Here are some things that baby gazelle WILL be: Honest, ridiculous, sarcastic, (hopefully) hilarious, refreshing, pun-filled, unique and shameless.
Where did the name baby gazelle come from? Some friends and I have animal nick-names. I was given baby gazelle as my name from my friend, who is dubbed the Lioness. At first I had to look up what a gazelle was! It was fitting because I am a bit doe eyed, thin, and I am terrified of crossing the street. The name is very fitting now because as I see it, baby gazelles are vulnerable and weak but then turn into fierce and fast beautiful creatures that are very aware of their surroundings. What animal would you call yourself?
Chao for now! A lot can happen between now and never…
This is AWESOME! Keep it up boo. 2-3 times a week ay?
